For whole again, I run in the dark →
For whole again, I run in the dark,
Under a sheet of disaster, don’t look,
Don’t look past this gleaming seed
I would hope to weep into your palms.
Swelling into me, fruit I would offer,
You bellow, though moonlight slow
Eager to know, praying to meet seas -
None other would open an eye wide.
To dream of a breeze unbound, lost,
Underneath the lie of windows unloved
Is my only promise, something I see,
A realm I have learnt to believe, follow.
I would beg you never to trail one step,
A single red hair behind any goodbye
That sings to build a home in your eyes,
Darkness quietly to abide, run home.
I would beg you, never put out your flame.
Fight the temptation, the urge to fade away.
